Fall TENNIS

 August:

 Everything For the Fall 2025 Tennis Season!

1.  August 11th:  

• First day of practice!  Everyone will practice from 3-5 pm.
• Parent Meeting following practice at 6:00 pm in the View.

2.  Final Forms:  Be sure to have Final Form updated before the first practice.  You cannot practice if you are not CLEARED.

3.  New Player Information:  Be sure to fill out the Google Form link below before the first day of practice if you are new to the team.

4.  Practice Schedule:  

Monday, August 11th:  3-5 pm for everyone.  

August 12th -16th:  practices will be at different times for different groups determined by levels.  Athletes will be divided up evenly into pools for ladder matches.  There will be an A (Coach Koch), B (Coach Goodwin), C (Coach Geisert), and D (Coach Briggs ) pool.  There will be a Saturday practice as well on August 16th for some pools after pictures.  There may be additional Saturday practices as well.

August 12th-14th:  

Pool A:  3:00-5:00

Pool B:  3:00-5:00

Pool C:  5:00-7:00

Pool D:  5:00-7:00

Friday, August 15th:  Blue Crew Crazies Scrimmage night.  We will play intra squad matches starting at 2:30pm.  

Saturday, August 17th:   pictures at 7:30 am followed by practice.  The form for pictures is #6.

August 18th -19th:

Pool A and B:  3-5 pm  

Pool C and D:  5-7 pm

August 20th on (school starts):

Varsity:  3:30 - 5:30

JV:  3:30- 5:00

C-team:  5:00 - 6:30

5.  Team Pictures:  Uniforms will be handed out Thursday,  August  14th at practice.  Team pictures will be on Saturday, August 16th  at 7:30 am.  Order forms will be passed out at practice.

6.  The schedule for the season is found on the SportsYou app under "Calendar".  The schedule has everything but the practices.

7.  LuluLemon:  As in years past, we will have an opportunity for athletes to purchase Lululemon apparel at discounted prices.  This will be available at the Parent Meeting.

8.  Tennis Accessories:  Athletes will also have an opportunity to purchase tennis shoes, bags, or racquets at a discounted price as well available at the Parent Meeting.

9.  Spirit Wear:  The link for Spirit Wear is below!  Check out of the amazing designs our seniors created for this year's spirit wear!  Order before August 16th!!

• Melina Thomas and Rebecca Squadrone:  All-State (8th place finish) in MSHAA Class 3 doubles.
• Sidney Chambers:  Singles MSHAA Class 3 qualifier.

2022 Season Results

• Claire Hamilton qualified for State in Singles.
• Melina Thomas/Sidney Chambers qualified for State in Doubles.
• Conference Champs.
• 2nd place team in Districts.
• JV had an undefeated season.
• C-team had an undefeated season.

Colby Kelley MSHAA Class 2 Singles Champion!

Samantha Seggerman and Rebecca Floray MSHAA Class 2 Doubles All-State 7th place finish!

7 Years in a Row District CHAMPS!

Congrats to Senior Colby Kelley for signing with University of Nebraska - Omaha and to Senior Samantha Seggerman for signing with Truman State!

                                                              2019 Results:

Colby Kelley finished 6th in State Singles.

Samantha Seggerman / Rebecca Floray finished 6th in State Doubles.

Team won their 6th District Championship Title in a row !

2017 Results:

Colby Kelley and Riley Kelley are All-State!

Colby and Riley placed 3rd overall in Class 2 Doubles!  They finish with a 33-3 record.
