The Kansas City Classic is sanctioned by MSHSAA and KSHSAA, qualifies as a MDTA approved competition and participation in The Kansas City Classic would fulfill the requirement of competing in one other competition prior to state. The Kansas City Classic will adhere to the guidelines set forth by the National Federation of State High School Associations and Missouri State High School Activities Association.
