After playing 5 tough games in the heat over the weekend, there was no rest for the Jays. They traveled to Staley to take on the Falcons to start the last week of regular season play. The Jays got off to a quick start with a 2 RBI double from Malia Cabuyaban and a 2 run home run from Sofie Bock to take a 4-0 lead. The Falcons would strike back only to see the Jays answer and lead 5-3 through 3 innings. In the 4th, the Jays rallied for 4 more runs with an RBI single from Cabuyaban an RBI double from Bock and a 2 run single from Blodgett. Staley would answer back with 3 more in the 5th but that would be all they would get as the Jays would slam the door and win 9-6. This win guaranteed at least a share of the Conference Championship for the Jays for the first time since 2018. Liberty is now 8-0 in conference and 18-12 overall.

Championship Bracket of Springfield Invitational

After earning 2 victories in pool play on Friday, the Jays earned a spot in the championship bracket. The opening game was a wild one. The Jays made some defensive mistakes that allowed Republic to stay in the game. Republic would eventually win 12-11 in 3 ITB innings. The Jays would bounce back nicely with wins over Branson and Willard to close out the weekend going 4-1. Overall, it was a great weekend of softball!
